Services provided consolidate all non-medical patient care services comprised of the following sections.
  • Housekeeping- Well trained housekeeping members with new equipment and appropriate cleaning and disinfecting materials keep the environment clean and safe for patients, visitors and employees.
  • Phones- New phones and switchboards and well trained operators answer calls and assist callers. A dect phone service and paging system is in use by hospital employees.
  • Reception- All reception employees trained on how to greet people and how to assist and interact with patients and visitors in a professional manner with particular attention to customer care.
  • Laundry.

Food & Beverage

The F& B Division takes pride in providing the highest standards of quality, service, cleanliness and value in the restaurant industry to patients, guests and employees of Amman hospital. International standards of Food Safety Management are adhered to and on-the-job training and lectures are provided to the staff to enhance team spirit, performance and efficiency.

Security

The Security Unit aims to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees, and to protect the hospital against the hazards of fire, damage, theft and trespassing. All security personnel are provided with education and training, in order to maintain order and enforce regulations, all with a helpful and pleasant attitude towards those they serve.

Transportation

A new fleet of transportation vehicles ensure safe and reliable transport for the hospital patients and staff. Parking facilities and traffic are monitored closely for smooth flow, efficiency and safety.

Information Technology Service

IT Department is working to provide the hospital with management information system by protect, defend, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information systems of Amman hospital. It department is committed to deliver more and better quality services to patient and staff by:

All operations addressed to testing, implementing, supporting current and new systems, user training, maintaining and supporting existing programs , technical administration activities related to hospital’s database , Network , —- etc.
All operations related to hardware and networking troubleshooting, minor hardware maintenance, virus control.
All operations related to patients’ management system, including in-patients data transactions, auditing of in-patients transactions, in-patients billing (invoicing) etc.
